Working with the Council and volunteers, the Friends of Agnes Riley Gardens have been running this paddling pool since 2018.
Sunday 3rd September 2023 will be its last day of operation.
Works to the northern part of the playground will be starting during the week beginning 4 th September and will impact on the pool. Work to the pool area itself will commence later in the Autumn with the existing pool being replaced by a splash pad similar to that recently installed at Clapham Common (but smaller in scale).
The council is about to start construction works at this park which will deliver the following:-
Therefore, for public safety, part of the Playground will be closed off, (with fencing), to allow the contractor, KOMPAN Ltd, to proceed with the building work.
The Clapham Park Community Chest provides funding of up to £1000 for projects and ideas that improve services for residents living in the Clapham Park neighbourhood. The grant is available both for groups or individuals.
Repair Café Lambeth CIC is a community interest company powered by Integrate and We Are 336. We are helping the good people of Lambeth fix their broken stuff for free. We focus not only on mending things but also restoring confidence, sharing useful skills and promoting communication, cooperation and community spirit!
