Consultation: Brixton Hill Low Traffic Neighbourhood Design

Lambeth Council is proposing a trial Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) in Brixton Hill, launching Spring/Summer 2023, as well as wider street improvements.

We all need to take bold action to reduce car journeys to clean up the air in Lambeth and to cut carbon emissions in response to the climate crisis that we are facing. The LTN will restrict vehicles cutting through residential streets. This will help to reduce road danger and congestion and tackle the climate crisis by supporting people to walk, wheel, scoot and cycle. We will also increase the number of street trees, cycle parking, and places to rest and play.
